HEY, I'M YADER!

I'm here for the couples who love photography, but who also want to enjoy their day and not have it feel like a never-ending photoshoot.

To me, photographing weddings is all about people and connection. I feel my role is to tell your story through pictures in a creative and honest way, capturing the intimate, in-between moments that make you're story unique.

I'm here for the couples who love photography, but who also want to enjoy their day and not have it feel like a never-ending photoshoot. You’ll know I’m there when you need me and the rest of the time I'll be invisible, capturing the moments and pictures you didn't even know you wanted.

I studied photojournalism in Belleville, Ont. and I often work with top publications such as The Globe and Mail, The Canadian Press among others.

I was born in Nicaragua, I speak Spanish and I love to travel.

I got into photography as a way to explore the world, see places, and meet people I would never otherwise get the opportunity to. Photography has been good to me, I've learned a lot, I've made some amazing friends, and best of all, it's been incredibly rewarding to see the joy my work brings to the people I get to photograph.

FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

I believe my role is to document your day, not direct it.
With a background in photojournalism and documentary photography, my approach is to capture images that tell the story of your day. From the smallest, intimate details to the moments of pure, raw emotion. I work discretely and in an unobtrusive way, allowing you to be present and enjoy your special day.

Do you take traditional portraits and family photos?

Absolutely, portraits of you and your partner as well as traditional family photos are key in telling the story of your day. Despite taking a documentary approach, I always encourage my couples to set aside some time for these photos.

Do you use a second photographer?

That would be completely up to you. I am comfortable photographing a wedding on my own, however, adding a second photographer has its benefits, especially if you and your partner are getting ready at different locations.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Toronto and available across the GTA and beyond, including destination weddings.

When will we get our photos?

Your photos will be ready within 5 weeks. Delivered via an online gallery, ready to be downloaded and shared with your friends and family. The gallery also functions as a print shop, where you can order a variety of different size prints in archival quality paper stock.

How many pictures will we receive?

For a full-day, 10-hour wedding, I deliver a minimum of 700 fully edited, hi-res pictures via an online gallery.

Do you edit the pictures yourself?

Yes, of course. I do all the editing myself, I don't use AI or outsource any of my work.

Can I extend the session the day of?

Of course, I understand things can change and I will work with you to make sure we get everything covered and that it's as seamless as possible.
Addition coverage is $500/hour

What is the booking process?

Head over to the contact page, there you can let me know the date and location of your wedding day, and from there can we plan to meet up in person or through video chat. If you decide you want to move forward, you would then sign an agreement and make a deposit which would lock in your date and your final price.
